Convenient location, close to the Camino trail. Rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. the grassy area outside was a nice place to relax and stretch after a long day of walking.
Noisy atmosphere, particularly due to school parties. Thin walls made it difficult to have a peaceful stay.

Alda in Palas de Rei is a lovely, dog-friendly hotel with beautiful spacious rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location right on the Camino de Santiago was perfect.
Breakfast choices could be improved, maybe by having it served in the restaurant with natural light.

Good location right on the camino. Room was a bit more basic than we expected with bunk beds - but spotlessly clean and very good value for the price. Very good service, particularly guy on reception who spoke very good english, and good breakfast. Not much to do here other than go to bar/restaurant - so don't rush your walk!

We really enjoyed it because it was like going camping without the tent!! On the road to Santiago di Compostella so there were lots of travellers there all exhausted. A great place...

Loved the green grounds
We were delighted with the lush green surroundings at Alda. It was a wonderful escape from the city hustle. Sitting on the patio, sipping drinks, and enjoying appetizers, while soaking in the beautiful view, was amazingly relaxing. Unlike other places on the Camino, we had no trouble getting food between 5:00 and 7:30 pm, which was a great relief after a long day of walking. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

Very good assistance; the staff is fast and efficient and the location is just upon the Camino. Comfy rooms and quite a good atmosphere.
Sometimes crowdy, but the size of this complejo is a good reason to expect this.

Beautiful cabin-style rooms with spacious private bathrooms just outside the town center. Right on the path of the Camino for easy access. Well-kept lawn perfect for dogs to play and picnic tables for outdoor relaxation. Excellent value for money with a big breakfast included in the price. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Felt snug, nothing to complain about.

It´s location was fabulous if you are hiking the Camino de Santiago, fabulous. The food was a delightful surprise :) The food was quite delightful and I would stay here again. Trust me on the Camino, if your budget allows, stay here and watch everyone traveling in.
I found one room to have bugs, not bed bugs per say but, bugs in the bed and I quickly mentioned this and they were very respectful and speedy to move me to a new room. It was comfortably clean. Dryer had no cord. When I mention bugs, they are in a wooded area and that could be common, I saw no such thing in the other room and would stay again.
